Departure 4X4 jeep to Wadi El Rayan south of the oasis of Fayoum. Visit en route from the Valley of the Whales (Wadi Hitan) where the ground is white, covered with shellfish fossils which include shark teeth. Lunch safari to the Valley of whales. C ontinue to Wadi El Rayan, one of the first protected areas in Egypt: the drainage surplus have formed two lakes where tourists have become accustomed to bathe, and the desert full of fossils, including skeletons of whales. Encampment in Wadi El Rayan. Dinner and overnight in the bivouac. Bivouac in Wadi El Rayan

Breakfast safari, return to Bahariya oasis. Transfer to the hotel. Lunch at the Hotel Dream Bahariya. Afternoon free time on the shores of Lake Bahariya (optional Optional Tour Bahariya Jeep 4X4, visit es d e s Roman tombs of Bahariya, the museum s golden mummies, temple of Alexander the Great, of a source of hot water and panoramic view of the mountain and its English remains). Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
